Dr. Audrey Fasching, Ph.D., P.E., leads our firm and brings a wealth of knowledge to every project. Her impressive career began over 30 years ago at McDonnell Douglas, where she specialized in manufacturing research and development of new materials.
This early experience laid the groundwork for her extensive expertise. Dr. Fasching is a highly respected metallurgical expert. Her passion for materials science is evident in every project she undertakes, and she is committed to providing the best service possible.
A Broad Range of Expertise
Dr. Fasching’s metallurgical expertise spans a wide range of industries and applications. She has worked in research and development at Kaiser Aluminum, specializing in novel welding and joining of aluminum alloys. She also shared her knowledge as an adjunct lecturer at Santa Clara University, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in mechanical and materials engineering.
Furthermore, her experience includes roles as a senior engineer at Exponent, Inc., and a senior metallurgical engineer at Memry Corp. She is a versatile and knowledgeable metallurgical expert whose diverse background allows her to approach each challenge with a unique perspective.

She has a particular interest in welding, brazing, soldering, microstructural morphology/evolution, heat treatment, fracture, corrosion, and materials selection. Furthermore, she is an experienced expert witness, bringing her deep understanding to legal proceedings.
